A detailonly you know
A curve beneath the stone. A leaf along the band. The smallest details of an engagement ring can hold the places, gestures and moments two people remember.
Five more minutes
A fictional story exploring design possibilities. It is not the customer history of the ring shown here.
At the end of their early dates, they stopped at the iron gate outside her building. Its two curling halves met beneath a little arrangement of leaves. She would put her hand on the latch, remember something else she wanted to tell him, and stay.
Those meeting curves could suggest an open gallery beneath a centre stone. Smaller scrolls might turn towards the shoulders, with engraved leaves carrying the rhythm along the band. The proportions would belong to the ring. The memory would belong to them.
“I knew every curl in that gate. We spent a lot of time saying goodnight there.”
